  That our Heart is the first organ to form in our bodies. Our heart emits a field which is influenced by our thoughts and emotions. Taking care of yourself and healing stress, emotional upsets affects all those around you. My work sessions are available to support miniminzing stress, strengthening a sense of serenity as well as enhancing  well-being. I use a variety of techniques that assist bringing each client into a  state of Inner Ease, Coherence, and Resilience. Through using these  techniques each client lowers their  stress levels, learns to operate  with greater sense of clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose, as they  navigate through the practice of everyday life

Each  emWave session is designed to help you transform stress, build  resilience and increase performance in all areas of your life.
This  emWave Technology is a unique training system based on years of research  on stress, emotions, and performance.  It objectively monitors your  heart rhythms and confirms your physiological level of coherence.   Coherence is an optimal state in which the heart, mind, and emotions are  operating in-sync and in balance which has been proven to have numerous  mental, emotional and physical benefits. Physiologically when we are  coherent, the immune, hormonal and nervous systems function in a state  of harmonious coordination.  With practice you learn to shift into  coherence at will, and readily see and experience changes in your heart  rhythm patterns as you practice The Inner Ease, Quick Coherence, and  other HeartMath techniques.

Right  NOW, practice the Quick Coherence® Technique for 1 minute: heart focus,  heart-focused breathing, heart feeling.* Repeat these three steps -- maybe 3  times a day--whether or not you feel stress.

Do this every day for a week and see what happens.
 

We  all know how to care. To care for and about others is part of our  nature. Yet how we express our care can add more stress to our lives  when we confuse care with empathy or sympathy. This becomes clearer when  we look at the meaning behind these two words.

Empathy, as  defined in one dictionary*, is the intellectual identification with or  vicarious experiencing of the feelings, thoughts or attitudes of  another. And, sympathy is defined as sharing the feelings of another  especially in sorrow or trouble. Emotional over-identity with another or  lack of our own emotional management can turn our care into someone  else's stressful feelings of anxiety, anger or worry and eventually  drain our energy.

Next time you want to  express your care, do an internal check first: Is your care stress  reducing or stress producing? Whether or not you know why you're feeling  stressed or disturbed, take a few heart-focused breaths to disengage  from any discomfort or stressful feeling. Then, recall and activate a  sincere feeling or attitude of compassion or care. Give yourself the  gift of self-care

Jimi  led a group of about 15 from our church in a Quiet Day one Saturday in  March, 2016.
